Our  Values

1.) Spirit- Living by the Spirit and walking by the Spirit (Gal 5:25)

We value life lived in submission to the Spirit of God.  Therefore, structure must always submit to spirit both in the individual’s life as well as in the church as a body

2.) Transformation- Being transformed through the spirit at work in us (Romans 12:1-2)

We value having a continually growing relationship with God and believe all believers should also be disciples whose lives are continually transforming to the likeness of Christ.  Therefore, we are committed to giving people regular opportunities to grow in their relationship with God through the study of the word and applying it in their lives.

3.) Serve- finding ways to use God given gifts in our world (1 Cor 12:6-11)

We value serving the Lord and believe it to be a natural expression of our love for Him.  Therefore, we will equip each specially gifted person in our body to serve both in the body and in the world.

4.) Mission- Being a witness of God’s salvation and grace to the world (Mt 28:18-20, Acts 1:8)

We value all people as God does.  Therefore, we will make every effort and use all means possible to bring people into a saving relationship with the Lord on a glocal (global and local) level.

5.) Love- Loving God and loving people (Mark 12:29-31)

We love God and desire to worship him wholeheartedly.  We understand that true worship is done in our heart and is seen through the outpouring of our lives in our acts of love for God and for people.  Therefore, we will model this in our leadership and seek to be a community known for its love of others.

We value family and believe that the family is designed by God as the nucleus for all community.  Therefore, we will seek to minister to families as a whole and we will structure ourselves in such a way that encourages families to spend time together and encourage one another in spiritual things.
