Our History
OUR HISTORY
Mountain View Fellowship began as a dream in 2004 when a group of believers in conjunction with Mountain Life Church in Park City began talking about the possibilities of planting a church in the Heber Valley. Mountain Life began working toward that vision by putting together a team of people to search for a pastor to lead the ministry. In the summer of 2007, Pastor Shane Finley was called from Southern California. Pastor Shane spent the next year building a team of committed people, and the group began meeting as an evening Bible study. That group quickly grew to over 50 people.In September of 2008, Mountain View Fellowship launched its first service. We have been meeting weekly since that time and God has grown our community to over 200 people. Many of them are new to knowing the grace of God through Jesus Christ. We have built impactful youth and children's ministries, developed community groups, offered events to benefit the community, and began supporting various ministries overseas and in the Salt Lake Area.
We look forward to seeing how God will continue to use us for His glory.
